My complaint in working through just about any temp agency, is the instability of employment. Last year, when I worked at husqvarna, the local express pro rep calls me one afternoon and tells me my assignment is done. No warning, no reasons given, just you’re done get out. No matter how hard I worked, always came to work on time, never argued or caused trouble in anyway. I was a very hard worker, still they just threw me to the curb for no reason. I tried to inquire the next day at the local express pro office, no comment or reason was offered. In fact, they acted as surprised as I was. It would have been helpful to know why. That is why I do not trust express pro, and would never refer anyone I know to them for work.
Subsequent interviews they sent me to did not result in work being offered, and no feedback as to why. Happily, there are other agencies, and sources for me to use. I think I know the real reason, they are just too afraid to say it to me. I am white, just north of the age of 50, and a veteran. Inspite of the fact I can pass any background check ( top secret clearance) and can pass any drug test. Guess I do not “fit” their profile of hireable kind.
