If you lead a busy life with a packed schedule and never-ending to-do lists, finding time to volunteer may be the last thing on your mind. Yet, the benefits of volunteering are numerous! While the biggest value of giving back is the impact on your community, it can also aid in your job search. When you volunteer, you gain new skills to add to your resume, find networking opportunities, and become a more attractive candidate to employers.
Because there are multiple ways to give back in the community, we want to know what you’re doing to make an impact and be involved.

I am not working and searching for part time or full time work. However, I do charitable volunteering to my community.
Donating blood is very rewarding to me.
Donating my time/food/funds gives me a sense of purpose. I truly enjoy giving
I am a tutor for the “Whiz Kids” in Denver. We meet weekly after school. My student will be in second grade this Fall. I tutored his sister 3 years. This will be my 5th year with “Whiz Kids”. It is very rewarding.
I volunteer my time by coaching boys in youth soccer and tutoring elementary students in math and reading. Both are very rewarding and it is fun watching the kids learn and grow. I also donate food and clothing to local charities and deliver holiday baskets to families in need.
