Congratulations! You make more money and things are awkward.

Our Job Spotlight monthly blog series is designed to help you answer that question. In this series, we review all the basics of specific jobs, from salary and duties to why people do the jobs they do.

Grounds/Maintenance

In this month’s Job Spotlight, we’re clearing the air with some information on grounds/maintenance positions. Competition for grounds/maintenance positions is low, as employment is projected to grow at 11% from 2016 to 2026, a rate higher than most occupations. Responsibilities include assisting with general tasks, such as clean up, light construction, and some mechanically inclined occurrences.
