The end-of-year celebrations have began!
In November, we asked those polled what type of holiday party is your company planning? Here’s what they had to say:
With 29%, the top answer to the monthly poll was “Offsite party outside of work hours,” followed by “We are not planning to have a holiday party this year,” with 18%. With another 17% of the votes, readers said, “In-office party during work hours.”
Another 12% of respondents chose the “other” option. Here are a few of their responses:
- “Offsite party outside of work hours with spouses and a carry-in lunch at the office for employees.”
- “A week and a half off.”
- “Restaurant with office team plus catered party outside of work hours for organization plus restaurant lunch with Board of Directors.”
- “Via Zoom Meeting, since the department I am in has employees in different states.”

- “We celebrate by hosting a volunteering event.”
