My personal experience led me to vote no way. I know that I am a solid team player with old school dedication, however in the last 13 years I have been laid off from 3 jobs (most recently last month). I understand business is business and if downsizing is warranted well then so be it. I am not jaded and do believe the right opportunity could be around the corner and I will continue to give 110%!

So long as OR is “will to work” state employers have the right to terminate at any time with or without cause. States that are ” right to work” are where bussinesses are relocating.

Sadly, there’s no such thing as a sure thing these days. Gone are the days when a person can call any job permanent or a place to retire.

Employers, both big and small, are concerned about one thing…”How much can I make today.” There are no concerns about how someone is going to pay thier bills, live, or for that matter where thier next meal is going to come from.

Fire at will seems to be the thing these days. Until laws are put in place to protect the rights of a person to work for someone and expect a decent living and retirement, no one is guaranteed the expectations of working and retiring from any company no matter what your qualifications may be.
