Express Bike Loan Program Eases Transportation Needs

Express Employment Professionals offices are passionate about making a difference in their local communities. The Express office of Helena, MT, is positively impacting associates’ lives through their ExpressMobile Bike Loaner Program, as part of the Brand It Blue Initiative!

The concept was inspired by Franchisee Tabatha Hyatt sharing about her office’s experience in supporting an associate facing transportation as an employment barrier during a presentation on The Great Divide, an employer resource from Express. An attendee contacted Tabatha to make a donation toward a bike.

The bike, branded in Express blue with a logo, is now in use by the program’s second associate. The program has been successful in supporting associates with reliable transportation to their jobs, community members recognizing the bike, and businesses seeing the program’s value and wanting to help, leading to sponsorships for an additional bike.

This incredible program was recently featured on Helena’s local news station, KXLH News.

“Our mission is to enhance lives one step, one day, and one career at a time. With the bike, helping one new-to-town struggling, associate happened one person at a time. One associate, one owner seeing a need, one person donating money for one bike, which lead to more bikes for more people! Helping people and making a difference really does happen one person at a time and one person can affect the world,” said Tabatha Hyatt, Franchisee of Express Employment Professionals of Helena, MT.
